Empezamos por uno de los complementos más sencillos de usar y más útiles que vienen instalados en la OpenLD 3.4, el de WEATHER SIMPLELD. Y es que a mi al menos me encanta ver a tiempo real la temperatura que hace en mi localidad, y la previsión del tiempo del día siguiente; y como es una cosa que no usa ni mucha CPU ni memoria…

Pulsamos el botón MENÚ en nuestro mando a distancia, y vamos a CONFIGURACIÓN >> SISTEMA >> SISTEMA EXTENDIDO >> WEATHER SIMPLELD.

Os encontraréis con la siguiente pantalla.

Por defecto este complemento viene desactivado, así que lo primero que hay que hacer es activarlo, simplemente hay que darle hacia la derecha en la cruceta del mando y ponerlo en SI, y voilá. Y esa pantalla es la configuración de la extensión, que como se puede ver es bastante sencilla. No hay mucha posibilidad de equivocarse a la hora de tocar algo. Ahí podemos configurar el intervalo de refresco (por defecto viene puesto en 90 minutos), la unidad (que viene en celsius) y la localización donde vivís (que por defecto viene puesto en Sevilla). Y cómo se hace para poner la ID de vuestra localidad? tranquilidad… paciencia… ya llegaaaaamos… Si os fijáis, aparece una dirección web (enmarcada en un rectángulo rojo).

Nos vamos a nuestro ordenador (móvil, tablet o lo que tengáis a mano) e introducimos esa dirección en el navegador. Donde pone «Your city name» (resaltado en una elipse negra) introducimos el nombre de nuestra ciudad, y le damos a buscar.

Nos aparecerá una lista de localidades, y elegimos de ahí la nuestra.

Nos saldrá la información del tiempo actualmente en nuestra localidad. Muy bien, y dónde está la ID? Pues en la barra de dirección del navegador, si os dáis cuenta, salen unos números detrás de la dirección de la página (está resaltado dentro de una elipse roja), pues eso es lo que tenéis que meter en el deco, esos siete números.

Os váis al deco, a WEATHER SIMPLELD, y donde pone Weather ID ponéis la ID, que en este caso es 2519588. Le dáis a guardar, y listos, ya tenéis en el deco vuestra localidad y el tiempo y la temperatura que hace ahora y la que hará mañana.

Y ya está. Así de sencillo tendréis la información del tiempo en vuestra localidad en vuestro deco. Como he comentado más arriba, para mi uno de los complementos más útiles a la hora de tener un deco.
